How to Sew...
With Right sides together, sew along the edge of the fabric with at least a 3/8" seam allowance.
Press the seam flat. Then, Open the seam and press it open.
Fold all the pieces towards one side except one of the seam allowances. Top Stitch a line on the center of the seam allowance.
Repeat with the other side
With Pinking Shears, cut the excess fabric of the edge of both seam allowances.
Pinked Edge:

With Pinking Shears, cut the excess fabric of the edge of both seam allowances.
This is a great seam finish, but I recommend using it with a stable fabric the won't fray easily.
